Tehy spoke a very strange lingua franca consisting of one phrase - "CAN DO" - always spoken at extreme decibel levels. After a brief stay filled with many days & sleepless nights at Base Station SEABEE, the leader of the inhabitants pinned an emblem of an "earth moving machine" on my shoulder, shook my hand, then sent me to another earth galaxy called Republic of South Vietnam; but, I still hold fond memories of my time with the citizens of Gulfport.
